Changes in taxation for individual entrepreneurs (IEOs) will come into effect in Ukraine on January 1, 2025. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law that postpones the increase in taxes for IEOs until that date. More on the main changes, taxes and their amounts below.
Taxes for sole proprietors 2025 – Major changes
- Single tax:
- First group: 302.80 UAH per month (10% of the subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons).
- Second group: 1,600 UAH per month (20% of the minimum wage).
- Third group: 5% of income (or 3% for VAT payers).
- Single social contribution (SSC):
- The minimum payment will be 1,760 UAH per month (22% of the minimum wage).
- The maximum base for calculating the social security contribution has been increased to 20 minimum wages, which is UAH 160,000.
- Military service:
- For individual entrepreneurs of the first, second and fourth groups: 800 UAH per month (10% of the minimum wage).
- For individual entrepreneurs of the third group: 1% from income.
Income limits for sole proprietors in 2025:
- First group: 1,336,000 UAH.
- Second group: 6,672,000 UAH.
- Third group: 9,336,000 UAH.
In addition, from January 1, 2025, monthly reporting will be introduced for individual entrepreneurs, which will require additional attention to financial accounting.
