Today, the National Bank of Ukraine has set a record exchange rate - the dollar to the hryvnia at 42.09 UAH/dollar. In relation to this, we conclude that the hryvnia has weakened by 5 kopecks compared to the previous indicator this year.
We also want to note that relative to European currencies, the hryvnia exchange rate has strengthened its position and is currently stable. According to the NBU, the official euro exchange rate is 43.33, which means the hryvnia has increased by 5 kopecks compared to 1 euro.
Additionally: the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine set the quotation at 42.11/42.14 UAH/dollar, euro – 43.37/43.38 UAH/euro.
It should also be noted that NBU Chairman Andriy Pyshny added that this year the hryvnia exchange rate for international currencies will remain relatively stable, although the foreign currency deficit in the financial system remains significant.
